Consultants

This consultant has over 23 years in leadership and managerial experience.  A graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and The Johns Hopkins University with a Masters of Science in business, he has experienced virtually every level of management. 

He has been a member of entrepreneurial ventures, an Officer in the United States Army and a Program Manager for one of the top 100 Employee Owned business in America with revenues over $700 million a year.

His military experience is in Operations, Training and Homeland Security.  He served in numerous positions throughout his military career including as a Platoon Leader, a Company Commander, and an Executive Officer. 

In addition, he was handpicked to perform the duties as an operations trainer at the National Training Center.  There he trained ten staffs per year on military decision making, operations, as well as tactical and technical procedures. 

He was selected to lead a training battalion working a three state area as mentor and trainer to Army Reserve and National Guard battalion commanders as a major, a job normally given to higher grade officers.   He performed the lead role of the Defense Coordinating Element for FEMA Region X; part of the National Response Plan for civil disasters and crisis mitigation in the event of a terrorist attack. 

His military experience culminated as the Chief of Current Operations for the largest command in the US Army.  There he managed the Crises Action Team’s (CAT) daily operations and future operations in a headquarters of over 1200 people at a time when our nation was at war.  He understands crisis management and long range planning.

As a civilian he has performed long range planning and design implementation for National programs.  He has worked to implement a force generation model/process for the organization responsible for training all reserve component forces in the United States. 

He has been recognized by his superiors, peers and subordinates as the subject matter expert and toured the organizations in the Eastern United States giving demonstrations and presentations on the implementation and associated requirements with the unveiling and execution of the force generation model.

In addition, he has been a program manger responsible for all aspects related to the $3.2 billion Operations, Training, and Resource Support Services contract.  This indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract served organizations across the US, Europe, Middle East and even Asia.  He also established the organizations charter office in Atlanta, Georgia. 

In addition to his other responsibilities, he developed a training program to assist Project Management Professionals (PMPs) maintain their certification. 

Finally, he established his own government contracting company an organization founded in 2005 which he is still operating and growing today. 

His accomplishments include:  being a Registered Financial Consultant for several years, earning the Project Management Professional, Certified International Project Manager, and Master Project Manager Credentials, and Design for Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma and Green Belt certification.
